On Saturday, November 5th, DC Area Charity Homeward Trails Animal Rescue will be hosting an art show and auction to raise money for their incredible cause. Homeward Trails is one of our Charity Partners and they just took home the top donation from our 100th Home For Charity program. It has been great working with them and helping to support a truly local charity and we are honored to be a proud sponsor of their 2016 PawCasso gala.
PawCasso is an elegant, dog-friendly evening featuring the art of local artists in a live auction, a spectacular silent auction, food, cocktails and live music held on Saturday, November 5 in the Historic Terminal of Washington Reagan Airport. Julie Wright of WJLA and News Channel 8 is the Mistress of Ceremonies and the evening will feature live music with a special guest as well as a modern all-male contemporary a cappella ensemble of the Alexandria Harmonizers.
The auction will feature more than 25 pieces of amazing art and several bucket-list trips including an African Safari and a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Thailand where guests will not only enjoy the beautiful country but will participate in helping Homeward Trails in rescue efforts of dogs in Thailand.
