On Saturday, the Nellis Group was lucky to have the opportunity to assist at the Virginia Special Olympics soccer tournament by passing out lunches to the athletes. The event took place on October 22nd, 2016 at Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, Virginia and featured some amazing athletes putting on great soccer displays, as well as inspiring acts of sportsmanship.
Special Olympics Virginia is an inspiring organization, described as the following:
We are a social movement built on inclusion, where every single person is accepted and welcomed, regardless of ability or disability. We are helping make the world a better, healthier and more joyful place — one athlete, one volunteer, one family member at a time.
We had a great time passing out the food from Jason’s Deli and we can’t wait to participate again next season. As you know charity is very important to us, it is molded into our vision and we are always looking to impact the community for future generations.
