Paul VI Catholic High School alumni met at Oh George Restaurant in University Mall Shopping Center of Fairfax for an All Class Reunion & Happy Hour on Thursday night. PVI opened up its doors in 1983 and is still helping DC Metro area students grow in God’s grace and wisdom in 2018. It was exciting to see different generations of PVI graduates discussing their memories and how much the school has changed over the years.
James Nellis, CEO of the Nellis Group (Class of 1994) and Chris Comerford, Marketing Direction (Class of 2000) joined the fun to support their alma mater. The Nellis Group has a great relationship with PVI and we love meeing up with fellow Panthers!
The PVI alumni community is one of the most friendly you will find. Where else do you see the class of ’90 mixing with the class of 2015? Drinks, appetizers, and new friends highlighted the evening. The Panthers also started talking about the PVI Alumni Bowling challenge against rival Bishop Ireton (coming February 8th), and developing a super team to take back the cup in 2018!
As you may know, PVI is moving from Fairfax County to Loudoun County in 2020 (new campus tour) and it is bittersweet news to all the great people who’s unique Fairfax experience helped shape their lives. However, it is very exciting, and the amazing new campus is going to take Paul VI Catholic High School into the next generation and give students a fantastic place to learn and grow.
James and Chris look forward to seeing all our PVI friends in Alexandria for the big bowling tournament in February!
