The American Pops Orchestra is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of their patrons and musicians, and they have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation and how it will affect their upcoming programs. As an organization that strives to break the mold of classical concerts, they are using this time of social distancing as an opportunity to continue to connect with all of their patrons virtually. With this in mind, they will be changing the format of their upcoming Landslide: Yoga with The American Pops Orchestra on April 27th, 2020.
This event will no longer be taking place at Arena Stage on April 18th. Instead, it will be transformed into a virtual series to accommodate social regulations in place throughout our community. The series will be in 8 parts, each featuring APO musicians and original scores that will accompany acclaimed yoga instructor, Dan Carter, as he leads each unique practice. These practices will take place online throughout April on Monday’s at 6:00 pm and Thursday’s at 12:00 pm EDT.
