This amazing park was recently remodeled and just reopened in June 2022. Popes Head Park is a small secluded park located in Fairfax Station, Virginia. This park is perfect to bring the kids to for a relaxing afternoon. Popes Head Park has a basketball court, tennis court, a large playground and picnic tables. The playground features 4 different types of swings and 3 different sized slides. The park is also wheelchair accessible making it accommodating for everyone.
Locals love packing a delicious lunch and enjoying it in the large open field for a picnic. You can also find picnic tables and plenty of shaded areas nearby. The large grass area is perfect to be used for yoga, to throw a frisbee or to do a workout. The community loves visiting this park especially since it’s been re done. Popes Head Park is definitely a family favorite.
