The Hike to Help – Kensington! A 50-mile walk in support of local businesses in Kensington, Maryland.

The Nellis Group has been raising awareness and providing support for local businesses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020 with our nellisgroup.com/local page and our support local Facebook Group: Support Local Business & Restaurants: Washington DC, NOVA, MD

So, we are proud to support our Agent and Friend, Barrett Starling, and a cause that he is passionate about: The 50 Mile – Hike to Help – Kensington

Let’s walk for a cause! Barrett and organizers Justin Watson: Kensington Resident and President & Parsidio CEO,
John McCambridge: Kensington Resident and MLM Home Improvement CEO, and
Danny Boitel: a Property Manager at Executive Housing Consultants, will be walking 50 miles in one day to help raise money for struggling businesses and their employees in their community.

The 50 Mile – Hike to Help – Kensington takes place on June 6th, 2020. To give you an idea of how difficult this will be, founders John, Justin, and Danny, along with Barrett and many other volunteers, will walk from around 7 am to 11 pm, approximately 16 hours without stopping for this honorable cause. All proceeds will go to the businesses and their employees in the Town of Kensington, Maryland. They will donate primarily to the businesses that rely heavily on foot traffic and have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Every donation helps! Their goal is to get $1 per mile, but any donations help the cause. Let’s unite to help the businesses and the people that help make this community so special.
