THE NELLIS GROUP WOULD LIKE TO INTRODUCE YOU TO WARRIOR BUDDIES: A PET ADOPTION PROGRAM SERVING MILITARY FAMILIES

Here at The Nellis Group, we love our military and in turn, we love to support other organizations who feel the same. This time it’s the Prince William Humane Society who has truly stolen our hearts. The Nellis Group has been fortunate enough to observe the difference they’ve made in the lives of military families over the last few years and we truly admire their passion for serving military families in the cutest and furriest way possible.

The Warrior Buddies Military Family Adoption Program was created by Prince William Humane Society. They offer military families adoptions at a discount for any homeless pet in the Prince William County Animal Shelter and they have already placed over 600 homeless pets into loving homes. They understand fury friends and pets offer a special kind of love and companionship that provides a close camaraderie between pet and owner. They also understand the sacrifice made by the men and women who serve our country, and they hope to repay them with a loving and supportive friend, knowing they deserve one more than anyone.

Prince William Humane Society also offers The Warrior Buddies, Wounded Heroes Adoption Program. It’s designed to provide unconditional love and companionship to Wounded Heroes with trained shelter dogs. These dogs provide a special sense of comfort and support to Wounded Heroes as well as providing a special friendship.

Research has even shown that having a dog in the home increases happiness, decreases stress and allows your anxiety levels to fall. It’s the perfect form of medicine for everyone involved, including the pet in need of a home.

As you can see, Warrior Buddies is truly a win-win for every life they’ve changed.
