Hidden Treasures in Manassas, Virginia: Manassas National Battlefield Park and Bull Run Winery

Enjoy the scenery and historical sites at Manassas National Battlefield Park, located in Prince William County, Virginia. This park offers a variety of things to do including hiking, auto tour routes, education, picnics, as well as Ranger and Junior ranger Programs. At their visitors center and museum they have a variety of information on upcoming events, trail guides, as well as audiovisual programs and exhibits explaining the Battles of Manassas. Kids can explore the park and learn about the history involved with it, ending with an opportunity to earn a Junior Ranger Badge. In addition, there is plenty of space to enjoy a meal surrounded by nature and historical significance at this beautiful park. 

Next door and located on the same historic grounds, is the Winery at Bull Run. This Winery is known for its scenic vineyards and tasteful wines. In addition, they host wine releases, events, and festivals. The Winery at Bull Run is also a popular destination to host weddings and other private events. They often have live music as well as wine tastings and knowledgeable staff to guide guests through the tasting process and give information about the winemaking process.
